Something I’ve come to understand about my art is that I’d rather be an illustrator than a “fine artist”, and I’d rather invent drawings than just copy from a scene or a photo.
So this is the first of hopefully many little paintings, literally drawn with a pen as I went along with no prior planning, and printed on the back is a story fragment to go with it. In this case the story came after the painting.
